• The events of Bridge to the Turnabout force Franziska to contend with the fact that she never wanted to become her father's successor. At the same time, she realises just how hard she's fallen for Maya Fey.

I may also have some Narumitsu for this AU at some point, but it's very much not my main focus right now because Franziska and Maya are my favourite characters from the trilogy.

about the AU

After after the events of Bridge to the Turnabout, Franziska has to contend with the fact that she never wanted to become a prosecutor, but was never given a choice. If she ever wants to escape her father's shadow, she needs to decide what to do next.

And, to complicate things further, Franziska also has to manage her feelings for Maya Fey.

Breaks from canon directly after the ending of AA3, with the other main change being the inclusion of modern technology. Maya is a trans woman, my discussion of why that is important to me is here (links to Tumblr)
