about the AU

Post-OoT canon divergence: Link doesn't return to his childhood once Ganon is defeated.

5 years later, Sheik is a newly realised trans man who is running away from his supposed destiny as Queen of Hyrule alongside Link, the man he saved the world with years ago.

Final wordcount is 87.2k, with 25 chapters and an epilogue. Rated E due to some eventual smut.
